How Care is Structured
Psychiatric treatment is most effective when it is structured, deliberate, and based on careful evaluation rather than rapid medication changes. Appointment lengths are designed to allow adequate time for diagnostic clarification, discussion of risks and benefits, and collaborative treatment planning.
Fee Structure
- Initial Psychiatric Evaluation (60 minutes) : $400
- Medication management followup visit: $200
Appointment times are reserved in full to ensure focused, individualized care.
Payment is due at the time of service.
Insurance
I am currently in-network with BCBS PPO (Texas only) and Ascension Smart Health (Texas only).
Patients are responsible for verifying coverage details, including deductibles and co-payments. Insurance coverage varies by plan. Optimal Psychiatry can help you in the process of verifying your coverage prior to your visit. Just let us know…
For patients using out-of-network benefits, a detailed superbill may be provided upon request for potential reimbursement through your insurance carrier.
Reimbursement is determined by your individual insurance plan.
My practice is intentionally structured to prioritize diagnostic clarity, thoughtful medication use, and continuity of care rather than high-volume scheduling.
Cancellation Policy
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. Appointment times are reserved exclusively for you. Late cancellations limit the ability to offer that time to another patient who may be waiting for care.
